Welcome to Birch!

Welcome back to you all, we hope you have had a restful week break and are ready for the exciting learning we have in store for you this half-term.

This term’s topic is all about Inventions & Technology and we will be exploring our learning question
“What materials make a fast car?”

Our class novel study is The Way Back Home and we will be exploring this in our English lessons through creating a character description of the alien and also writing instructions on how to build a rocket.

We love reading at Robert Bakewell, so please try to read as much as possible with your child at home, we cannot wait to hear all about their exciting reads!

Our P.E lessons take place on a Thursday. Please ensure your child has a full and named kit in school. Also, please ensure your child has a water bottle in school everyday.
